Retatrutide
Also known as: LY-3437943, Triple-Agonist
A triple receptor agonist (GLP-1, GIP and glucagon) regarded as the next step in incretin research. In a phase 2 trial, retatrutide produced up to 24.2 % weight reduction after 48 weeks.

Mechanism of action
Retatrutide activates three metabolic receptors at once: GLP-1 (satiety, insulin secretion), GIP (insulin sensitivity) and glucagon (energy expenditure, fat breakdown). A fatty acid chain binds albumin and gives it a half-life of about six days.
