What is Cagrilintide?

A fixed combination of the amylin analogue cagrilintide and semaglutide. CagriSema targets two complementary satiety pathways and in trials produced greater weight reduction than either component alone.

Cagrilintide activates amylin receptors in the brainstem, while semaglutide stimulates GLP-1 receptors in the hypothalamus. Together they reduce appetite additively and slow gastric emptying.
